Welcome to Herio! These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the Herio platform (“Platform”) as a Job Seeker (“Candidate”) or a Job Poster (“Business”). By accessing or using the Platform, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please refrain from using the Platform.

1. Definitions

1.1 Herio: The platform connecting Candidates and Businesses for short-term, part-time, or freelance work opportunities.

1.2 Candidate: Any individual who registers on Herio to search and apply for job opportunities.

1.3 Business: Any individual or entity that registers on Herio to post job opportunities and hire Candidates.

1.4 Users: Collectively refers to both Candidates and Businesses.

1.5 Services: The services provided by Herio through the Platform, including job postings, applications, and communication tools.

2. Eligibility

2.1 Candidates must be at least 18 years old or meet the minimum working age in their jurisdiction.

2.2 Businesses must provide accurate and valid business information during registration.

2.3 By using Herio, you confirm that all information provided is truthful and accurate.

3. Account Creation

3.1 Registration:

Candidates must provide personal information, including but not limited to name, email, mobile number, and identification documents.
Businesses must provide business name, industry, contact details, and any required verification documents.

3.2 Account Responsibility:

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account login details.
Any activity under your account will be deemed as your responsibility.

4. Use of the Platform

4.1 Candidates:

Candidates may browse, apply, and accept jobs posted on the Platform.
Candidates must ensure their profile information is accurate and up-to-date.
Candidates are prohibited from engaging in fraudulent activity, including misrepresenting qualifications or failing to complete accepted jobs without valid reasons.

4.2 Businesses:

Businesses may post jobs and communicate with Candidates through the Platform.
Businesses must ensure job postings are accurate, legal, and comply with applicable labor laws.
Businesses must make timely payments to Candidates as agreed upon.

4.3 Prohibited Use:

Users may not use the Platform for unlawful, abusive, or harmful activities, including but not limited to harassment, discrimination, or exploitation.

5. Payments

5.1 For Businesses:

Payment terms for Candidates must be agreed upon before the job begins.
Payments must be made promptly upon job completion through the Platform or as agreed with the Candidate.

5.2 For Candidates:

Candidates are responsible for verifying the terms of payment before accepting a job.
Any disputes regarding payment should be raised within 10 days of job completion.

5.3 Platform Fees:

Herio may charge service fees to Businesses or Candidates. Such fees will be communicated in advance.

6. Cancellations and Disputes

6.1 Cancellations:

Candidates or Businesses may cancel a job before it begins. However, repeated cancellations without valid reasons may result in account suspension.

6.2 Disputes:

Any disputes between Candidates and Businesses must be reported to Herio within 2 weeks. Herio will mediate in good faith but does not guarantee resolution.

7. Data Privacy

Herio collects and processes personal data in accordance with its Privacy Policy. By using the Platform, you consent to such processing.

8. Intellectual Property

8.1 All content on the Platform, including text, graphics, logos, and software, is owned by Herio or its licensors.

8.2 Users may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from Platform content without prior written consent from Herio.

9. Termination

Herio reserves the right to terminate or suspend any account at its discretion for violations of these Terms or applicable laws.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Herio is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Platform.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of [insert jurisdiction]. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of [insert jurisdiction].

12. Modifications

Herio reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Users will be notified of significant changes via email or Platform notifications.
